Faqra Club welcomes summer with cultural attractions, and boosts calendar with all-new music and art events
Culture lovers are in for a special treat at Faqra Club this summer, where guests and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a jam-packed program of music and art, alongside the many regular attractions and entertainment.
Faqra Club has long been a popular destination with visitors in the warmer months, providing an exciting calendar of events in delightful surroundings for locals and holidaymakers keen to escape the heat of the city and relax in the picturesque Kfardebian area.
This year, the club has taken its cultural and other offerings to a new level, with the launch of an exciting and diverse calendar of events that includes weekly, early-evening musical performances in the new and popular Piazza. The Piazza is located at the Edelweiss project, developed as part of the Club’s initial urban plan and delivered in 2018. It has brought to life a new gathering space for residents and their friends, and contributes to the revitalization of the economic activity in the region, as well creates job opportunities for youth in summer.
As part of the cultural activities, a not-to-be-missed art exhibition, titled ‘Art into the Night’ is organized in collaboration with Alice Mogabgab Gallery. The landmark exhibition, regarded as the local art event of the season among many, showcases a rich variety of work by 20 contemporary artists in the iconic ‘Boite de Faqra’, the resort’s one-time nightclub, which is now enjoying a new lease of life as a cultural hub.
Faqra Club is also be offering a delightful variety of musical performances over the weekends in the new Piazza, which includes a number of new outlets, ranging from concept stores to eateries. The concerts provide the perfect backdrop for evenings spent under the stars, where visitors can eat, drink and relax, while enjoying performances by a selection of talented musicians.
